Sanctuary is a stately bungalow located in the heart of Rakwana in Ratnapura District, Sabaragamuwa Province. This small town is situated approximately 140.7km away from the city of Colombo.(existing in an undiscovered natural location).

Sanctuary, bungalow is nestled beneath the high hills of Sinharaja and Suriyakanda Reservations, where the scenic Hadapan Ella cascade in the rear view of this marvelous locale. The fresh mountain air and lush greenery of the surroundings will make you feel rejuvenated instantly.

Our boutique style resort has elegantly appointed six individually designed suites with all modern amenities and services. The amazing food and warm service will leave you feeling rested and relaxed and ready to launch your holiday with enthusiasm. Sanctuary is the ideal halt for any person to touch the wet “RAIN FOREST” region and the dry zone “UDAWALAWA” in a day…..and for more than a year we have hands on experience on skillfully organizing tour packages to Udawalawa and Sinharaja through Kudawa entrance with our own transport systems and meal plans.
